Ronald V. Miller, Jr.
After receiving his bachelor's
degree in finance from Loyola College, Ron attended University
of Baltimore School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. While
at the University of Baltimore, Ron was selected as the Executive
Editor of the University of Baltimore Law Review and was elected
to the Heuisler Honor
Society. His practice initially focused on the representation
of pharmaceutical companies, handling cases around the country
for companies such as GlaxoSmithKline, Bayer and Tyco.
Ron realized early in his legal
career that his heart and his sympathies lied with the injury
victims and the families who had lost a loved one as opposed to
that the pharmaceutical and insurance companies he was representing.
Today, Ron only represents individuals or nonprofit corporations.
His client list has included Michael Strahan of the New York Giants
in New Jersey, David Meggett of the New England Patriots in Massachusetts,
and victims of the Columbine massacre in Denver, Colorado. Ron
has handled many wrongful death and other serious truck accident
cases in the Baltimore Washington area. Most of the truck accident
cases he handles comes from other lawyers in and outside of Maryland.
Because he believes that every
Maryland attorney has an obligation to give back to the community
and other attorneys, Ron is also a Professor at the University
of Baltimore School of Law, instructing law students in Insurance
Law. His insurance law class gives particular focus to Maryland
law as it relates to truck accidents.
Ron is a member of the
Baltimore City Bar Association, the Prince George's County Bar
Association, the Anne Arundel County Bar Association, the Maryland
Trial Lawyers Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association,
the Maryland State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
